...WOW.

On November 8th, I about passed out when I got onto deviantART. I had over 150 messages, the vast majority of them being 's on my artwork. That has NEVER happened. I'm the kind of person who tries to keep their messages cleared out, so I knew something was up when I saw I had that many. I later discovered that I was featured by `hellobaby in the article Talented Artist Part 32, which totally explained the sudden rush of 's, comments, etc. A HUUUUUUUGE thank you to `hellobaby for featuring my work; it means SO MUCH!!! There's no way that many people would have ever found my artwork without you featuring me!

For the past hour I've been going through all my messages, thanking everyone for all the favorites and watches. I'm only stopping to make this journal because dA won't let me post anything else because they think I'm spamming people. I started with 243 messages, and so far I'm down to 120. Still a little ways to go!

So about a week ago, I realized I never made an October journal entry. Oops. Halloween was great--I went out trick-or-treating with my sister and got me some candy! Most of it's gone by now. We both did awesome pumpkin carvings as well; I'll get those posted here sometime soon.

Art-wise, I'm working on a couple of things. At art class, I'm doing my first watercolor EVER!! Not that I really wanted to, but my art teacher said it'd be good to try. I actually like it to some extent, but watercolor doesn't even come close to my graphite pencils! Besides the watercolor, I'm starting some drawings at home as Christmas presents--and that's all I'm saying!

I can't believe next month is December!! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. We're already half-way through November, and Thanksgiving is coming up fast! But of course the commercials and radio ads don't really care about Thanksgiving, once Halloween's over it might as well be December 1st!
